| Park Forest celebrates 33 years of Labor Day fun with Scenic 5 and more |

Labor Day in Park Forest saw the 33rd annual running of a race through town.
The Scenic 5 mile and more kicked off at 8 a.m. with just over 300 runners registered for the race.

| Village Hall closed today due to power outage |

| Village Hall will be closed today due to a power outage. Village Officials originally hoped ComEd would be able to restore power before noon, but crews were unable to quickly correct the problem.
